We will hear from an expert in the field as well as a panel of survivors including ladies from our congregation who will share their individual stories. Professional nursing CEU’s are provided.
Participation Options: Marabel Kersey, our FFC Parish Nurse, has organized the program so that those who cannot join for the full 3.5 hours may still participate. Segment I (6:30 - 8:15) will address early detection and emotional and spiritual responses to breast cancer and include the panel of survivors. Following a break and refreshments, Segment II will address treatment options (8:30 - 9:45).
To be eligible for CEU's you must attend the entire workshop.
Please join us for
either or both segments and invite family and friends!

register on-line: Go to www.firstfederated.org
; click on “Sign-Ups” heading and then on “Breast Cancer
Awareness Workshop” or registration forms may be dropped off or called into the

Since we have had two of our members (Jodie and Margie) diagnosed and treated for Breast Cancer in the last year, I think it is VITAL that as many of our members attend this seminar. BECAUSE OF THIS, we will NOT have our regular meeting on April 9. WE WILL ATTEND THIS INSTEAD!!!
